Interview conducted by Malcolm T. Pappan as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on April 6, and April 11, 1990. Boone talks about her early life in Salt Lake City, Utah. She talks about her parents' divorce and her mother's remarriage. She discusses her experiences in the Mormon church Placement Program and her relationship with her foster family as well as the community. She tells about her mission for the Mormon Church to Seattle, Washington. She talks about her experiences as a Mormon, her feelings about integrated wards and separate branches for Native Americans, and her relationships with Mormons.
